Quality Depot Solutions (QDS) recently opened a new facility in New Orleans.

The container depot—located at 6666 Old Gentilly Rd. near the Port of New Orleans, multiple rail yards, and Interstate 10—offers numerous services, including staging (loaded, dirty dedicated, and empty), heating, tracking, and inventory deployment from a secure facility, QDS reported. The facility’s team is trained and equipped to prepare ISO tanks for export loading. QDS also can conduct many tests on-site, including hydrostatic pressure tests, pneumatic pressure tests, internal and external visual inspections, safety relief valve tests, and leak tests.

“We are incredibly excited to open this facility and offer our services to the New Orleans market,” Joe Acevedo, QDS vice president, said in a news release. “We have a talented team in place that is ready to support the transportation industry and have invested in first-class equipment to support our operations.

“We look forward to providing this additional business solution for our existing customers and welcoming new customers.”

QDS plans to open other locations across the U.S., too, including in Los Angeles; Stockton, California; Dallas; St Louis; Chicago; Detroit; Jacksonville, Florida; Savannah, Georgia; Parkersburg, West Virginia; and Norfolk, Virginia; as well as on-site depots with select customers.
