Quality Depot Solutions opens New Jersey facility
Quality Depot Solutions (QDS) recently established a new depot in North Bergen, New Jersey, that is strategically located near the New Jersey Turnpike, Route 9, CSX’s Ridgefield Rail Yard, and the Hudson River.
“We are proud to bring QDS to New Jersey,” Joe Acevedo, QDS vice president, said in a news release. “Entering this market gives customers a viable solution in a very limited depot market.
“We know we are going to provide unrivaled service for this region.”
The facility, located at 2200 83rd Street, offers a number of services to customers, including staging (loaded, dirty dedicated, and empty), heating, tracking, and deploying inventory from a secure facility, QDS reported. The company also can conduct multiple tests on-site, including hydrostatic pressure tests, pneumatic pressure tests, internal and external visual inspections, safety relief valve tests, and leak tests.

In addition to its current locations in Channelview, Texas, and North Charleston, South Carolina, QDS plans to open more locations across the United States, including in Los Angeles and Stockton, California; Dallas, Texas; St Louis, Missouri; Chicago, Illinois; Detroit, Michigan; New Orleans, Louisiana; Jacksonville, Florida; Savannah, Georgia; Memphis, Tennessee; and Norfolk, Virginia; as well as on-site depots with select customers.
