TouchStar launching next-generation dual Android/Windows Mobility TransPac application

Sept. 17, 2014

TouchStar, a multinational, provider of logistics and mobility software solutions headquartered in Tulsa Oklahoma, today announced that it will launch its new TransPac Dual Android/Windows app during October. PC Systeme a TS Group company will provide live demos October 1-3 at Expo PetroTrans in Kassel, Germany.

This will be TouchStar’s first release in its “Next Generation Mobility” dual Android/Windows platform, which will grow to include many of its industry leading Mobility Apps.

TransPac, which has traditionally been delivered on a ruggedized handheld device, is designed to eliminate paper processes for any LP-gas delivery, fuel delivery, or van sales organization. Simplifying delivery data capture, drivers enter information directly into the application which automatically calculates volume delivered and prints delivery tickets and invoices while still on site.

“We are delighted to offer this full-service Android app to our customers who are increasingly looking to mobile technology to improve fleet and driver efficiency,” says Robert Pabeschitz, TouchStar chief technology officer. “With the same features and functionality of our legacy application, this new app is delivered on a platform that many drivers are already familiar and comfortable with, and reduces the number of devices needed in the cab.”

Integrated with fleet tracking, dispatch, and planning applications, TransPac enables a fully automated SaaS-based fleet management solution for fleets of any size.
