Trimac Transportation is again expanding its full-service ISO tank network with the opening of a new depot in Pasadena, Texas.
Located at 13301 Bay Park Rd., the facility will have capacity for up to 600 ISO tanks and provide cleaning and maintenance, secure storage for empty and loaded tanks, and drayage services, the carrier reported. The new depot strengthens Trimac’s presence in one of the largest chemical and ISO tank markets in the U.S. and will serve as a flagship location within the company’s growing network.
“Pasadena is a natural next step in the growth of our ISO tank network,” Derek Gaston, Trimac’s director of product development, said in a news release. “The Houston area is a major hub for chemical transportation, and establishing a depot here strengthens our ability to support customers across one of the industry’s most active markets.”
Situated within Houston’s chemical corridor and near major ports, the location places equipment and services closer to customers and supports efficient connections between marine terminals, industrial facilities, and other destinations across the region, Trimac added.
Ongoing network growth
The Pasadena location joins Trimac’s existing ISO tank depot network in Edmonton, Alberta; Markham, Illinois; Mississauga, Ontario; and Montreal, Quebec.
The site builds on recent operational upgrades across the network. In March, Trimac opened its Edmonton depot at 15410 Yellowhead Trail NW, providing access to major rail corridors and strategically positioning the carrier to support clients in the region’s mining and drilling sectors. Prior to that, an October 2025 expansion in Markham enhanced full-service depot capabilities, alongside expanded drayage operations in Mississauga and the Greater Toronto area.
Across these locations, certified technicians provide 2.5- and five-year inspections, pressure testing, and container storage for T1, T22, T50, and T75 units, as well as specialized chemical, solvent, and kosher wash options.
Depot growth runs parallel to Trimac’s active M&A playbook focused on acquiring specialized, high-barrier bulk capabilities.
The company recently expanded its Gulf Coast chemical presence through the acquisition of Houston-based Service Transport Company from Tres Energy, which integrated 16 locations, four tank-cleaning facilities, roughly 300 drivers, 300 trucks, and 750 trailers into Trimac’s fleet. The carrier also marked its 20th transaction since 2019 with the pickup of California Freight, adding eight terminals, a brokerage, and a 400,000-sq.-ft. warehouse to fortify its West Coast food-grade network.
