Kooner Fleet Management Solutions and Global Partners recently established a referral partnership designed to streamline mobile maintenance and fuel delivery for commercial fleet operators nationwide.
By linking Kooner’s mobile repair, preventive maintenance, and DOT inspection capabilities with Global Partners’ network of bulk fuel delivery, mobile refueling, and fleet card programs, the agreement aims to reduce operational downtime and consolidate service sourcing, the partners reported.
For the liquid bulk transport sector, the alliance bridges two critical operational requirements. Global Partners operates 54 liquid energy terminals across the East Coast and Gulf States, serving as primary storage and loading hubs for fuel-hauling fleets. Through this partnership, fleets loading at Global’s racks or utilizing its bulk distribution networks can be seamlessly connected to Kooner’s field service technicians. This allows bulk haulers to address on-site tractor and tank trailer maintenance, DOT compliance, and emergency repairs directly where their assets operate.
Conversely, Kooner will route its existing fleet maintenance clients to Global Partners for bulk fuel delivery, wet hosing, and commercial fueling access.
“Fuel and maintenance both have a direct impact on whether a fleet is ready to operate each day,” Michael Lingman, senior director of commercial fleet fuel programs at Global Partners, said in a news release.
“Kooner understands the demands commercial fleets face and brings maintenance support to the places those fleets operate.”
Under the agreement, each company will independently evaluate referred clients to recommend tailored service structures, focusing on continuous asset movement, simplified vendor management, and strict compliance across yards, routes, and loading facilities.
