Global Tank extends fleet, service capabilities
Global Tank keeps growing its fleet and footprint.
The family-owned tanker equipment and service specialist recently partnered with MAC Trailer as an authorized dealer in North Carolina and Louisiana, and opened a new location in Parkersburg, West Virginia.
The agreement with MAC includes the manufacturer’s dry bulk trailers and its liquid tankers, which previously ran under the MAC LTT logo. Global will stock MACs for sale and lease, and the orders are already placed, the company said. “We’re proud to partner with Global Tank,” Bill McKenzie, MAC president of sales, told Bulk Transporter. “This partnership strengthens our capabilities and positions us to deliver greater value and exceptional service to our customers.”
MAC started over 30 years ago as a one-main trailer repair shop. It’s now one of the country’s leading manufacturers of liquid and dry bulk pneumatic trailers, dumps, flatbeds, and drop decks, with 10 facilities spread across six states—and an enduring focus on innovation, strength, and performance.
“Since the beginning, Global Tank has been built on family-owned service and a commitment to providing reliable, high-quality equipment,” said Grant Stinson, Global director of leasing. “As we continue to expand and innovate, we’ve been intentional about partnering with companies that share those values. We found that alignment with MAC Trailer. After touring their plant in Kent, Ohio, we saw firsthand the craftsmanship and product lineup that fit what we want to deliver to both our sales and leasing customers. We’re excited to partner with a well-respected name in the industry and to offer the MAC Trailer brand to our customers.”
Global’s new full-service terminal in Parkersburg is open now. The six-bay, R-stamp-certified facility is a Global Service Center and Global Tank Leasing hub offering leasing and sales, maintenance, and 3,000 sq. ft. of parts.
“To further support our customers, Global Tank is opening its seventh service location in Parkersburg, West Virginia,” Stinson said. “We selected Parkersburg as a natural bridge between our current service footprint and the next phase of growth in the Ohio River Valley, strengthening our ability to support more customers in the region with the same speed, consistency, and service-first standards Global Tank is known for. This facility will offer six bays, HM inspections, FMCSA/DOT annuals, welding and fabrication, brake and suspension work, transportation support, and more.
“This marks our next step into the Ohio River Valley as we continue building out the infrastructure needed to serve our customer base.”
