Global Tank is growing again.

The family-owned provider of tank trailer sales, leasing, service, and repair—which celebrated 30 years in business last year—now boasts two Houston-area locations after establishing a second site in Northeast Houston, about 12 miles north of its Pasadena, Texas, location.

The new 11,000-sq.-ft. facility at 5210 Oates Rd. sits on 10 acres and features seven pull-through bays. It will offer sales and leasing; HM-183 inspections and R-stamp repairs; trailer shuttling and call-out services; and parking and domiciling options, the company reported.

“With the opening of our new Houston facility, we are excited to further expand into the external maintenance-services market,” Grant Stinson, Global Tank leasing director, told Bulk Transporter. “This growth enables us to better support current and future customers. We look forward to announcing additional facilities across the country as we continue to grow.”

The expansion comes on the heels of a new partnership that makes Global Tank a certified dealer for Wabash’s DOT 407 and 412 tanks, fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) trailers, and fertilizer and stainless-steel bolster tank trailers in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia. “Global Tank has built a reputation on delivering full-service solutions that align closely with our mission to empower customers through innovation and excellence,” Drew Schwartzhoff, Wabash chief commercial officer, said in a news release.

Global Tank, headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, now maintains three locations in Texas, including its Pasadena facility at 623 Pasadena Fwy. and one in Midland, which also is home to sister company T&C Tank Rentals, a frac tank specialist. The company also has full-service locations in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Mobile, Alabama, areas; and Charlotte, North Carolina.
