The Intermodal Tank Container Association is revamping its annual gathering, moving away from traditional indoor symposium formats to launch a dynamic, hands-on industry showcase and expo. Partnering with the LyondellBasell Center for Petrochemical, Energy, and Technology (CPET), the event will take place Thursday, Nov. 12, at San Jacinto College’s CPET training facility in Pasadena, Texas.
The expo floor will feature prominent sponsor displays showcasing tanks, chassis, and trucks, mirroring popular carrier-focused industry days—and giving fleet managers and operators direct access to the latest equipment, the association reported.
“We are committed to building the future of the tank container industry,” ITCA President Frieda Lolley told Bulk Transporter. “We’re proud to have this opportunity to connect professionals, exhibitors, and students at San Jacinto College CPET … to highlight innovation, share industry knowledge, and strengthen the partnerships that power safe, efficient tank container operations—now and for what’s next."
Event highlights and operational focus
Bulk Transporter has chronicled the association’s efforts to support the ISO tank and liquid bulk logistics sectors for years. Past symposiums in Kemah, Texas, underscored a growing industry-wide demand for practical workforce readiness, safety training, and deeper collaboration between equipment manufacturers and carriers—motivations that directly shaped this year’s pivot toward an immersive campus showcase.
