TransWood secures Dow carrier award

The Omaha, Nebraska-based bulk hauler is the chemical manufacturer’s 2024 Bulk Liquid Grand Champion as the highest-performing carrier across key performance metrics.

TransWood recently won Dow’s 2024 Bulk Liquid Grand Champion award.

The Omaha, Nebraska-based liquid and dry bulk hauler secured the honor as the highest-performing carrier across critical road and purchasing performance metrics, including safety, shipment tracking, and service reliability, the companies reported. Dow is a long-standing TransWood customer.

“Receiving this award from Dow underscores TransWood’s steadfast commitment to safety and service,” Brian Wood, TransWood president, said in a news release. “It is a reflection of the discipline and dedication that continue to drive our culture.”

TransWood, a family-owned bulk hauler, has been in business since 1928. The carrier provides contract and dedicated carriage, hazardous materials knowledge, logistics partnering, quality management, and other specialized services from 40 locations across the United States.
