Eagle Transport Corporation, one of the largest diversified bulk tank truck carriers in the United States, recently formed a multi-year partnership with Eco-Energy Biofuels to provide tank truck services in support of the company’s Ethanol Logistics Service platform.
Eagle Transport plans to hire many of Eco-Energy’s professional tank truck drivers and anticipates acquiring certain transportation assets from the company as well. The transaction is expected to close in mid-July and will add multiple ethanol distribution points to Eagle’s current southeastern presence.

With this venture, Eagle Transport will expand its southeastern terminal footprint and better leverage its presence in order to increase its value-based services for the ethanol and petroleum markets.
