Naughton Energy was selected by the NYC Board of Elections as a subcontractor to provide the fuel required for the New York City Elections back in November.

The company said it was responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of fuel to polling stations across all five boroughs.

“We are committed to servicing all the generators for the NYC Board of Elections and ensuring all New Yorkers have a voice in their city,” said Rory Naughton, chief operating officer. “Being selected for a high-profile job as a woman-owned small business demonstrates our abilities as a reliable, trusted company servicing the five boroughs.”

This year’s elections will involve all elected positions in New York City. Some of the positions in play include the mayor’s office and all congressional and local seats. The elections will be held in more than 60 polling stations across all five boroughs, and the fueling cycles are strict and precise.

Naughton’s transportation network is comprised of channels such as road, barge, rail, and pipeline. The company also operates a large fleet of tank wagon fuel delivery trucks serving the New York Metropolitan area.
