Any number of compact transmitter units can be installed within 1,000 feet of a simple receiver unit. The system is designed to work in conjunction with existing or new plant safety equipment and is easily installed. Transmitter devices are low-voltage, intrinsically safe units suitable for use in Class 1, Div 2, Group “D” hazardous environments. Transmitter batteries will last three-four years and have a test feature for routine checking.
