SmartDrive redefines video-based safety
Solera recently completed the full integration of SmartDrive into its fleet platform and launched a new SR5 AI-powered smart camera.
The advancement combines Solera’s unified platform intelligence with SmartDrive’s approach, which combines artificial and human intelligence to deliver “deeper insights, faster decisions, and safer outcomes.”

According to Solera, which acquired Omnitracs and SmartDrive Systems in 2021, the integration, delivers four key benefits to fleet customers:

The launch of the new SR5 underscores this evolution, Solera reported. Designed for speed, scalability, and smarter data processing, SR5 can detect risk events with “unprecedented” clarity and accuracy while seamlessly integrating with the Solera Fleet Platform. The result is more accurate AI-driven detection, real human-informed context, and custom coaching feedback that empowers drivers and fleets alike.
