J J Keller’s State & Federal Labor Law Poster Sets & Update Service will help employers comply with a new rule effective November 14, 2011.

The rule requires virtually all private employers subject to the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA) to post a physical notice of employee rights. Employers must also post the notice on the company’s Intranet or Internet site, if personnel rules and policies are customarily posted there.

“We’ve been following this rule from the beginning and took immediate action in response to its final release,” said Darlene Clabault, senior editor–human resources at Keller.

The State & Federal Labor Law Poster Sets (available in English or Spanish) consist of two laminated posters, one displaying the required federal postings for general industry—including the new employee rights under the NLRA posting—and one displaying the applicable state’s required postings. With purchase of the Update Service, customers will automatically receive new posters for their set anytime there’s a mandatory state or federal change.

With Keller’s Electronic Labor Law Posting Management Service, customers can meet the electronic posting requirement by downloading an electronic version of the required NLRA poster and sharing it via their company’s Intranet or Internet site. As with the print Update Service, all federal and state postings are automatically updated when there is a required change.

State & Federal Labor Law Poster Sets are available for a limited time for $19.95 each when purchased with the (print) Update Service. Visit www.jjkeller.com/nlraposting or call 800-327-6868 for more information.
