Transflo recently released Transflo Mobile+ 5.0, the latest iteration of the company’s driver-focused workflow app.
Building on its workflow automation functions, productivity tools, and document management and automation platform, the updates in Transflo Mobile+ 5.0 simplify the app signup experience, bolster security to protect fleet and driver data, and enhance user experience, the company said.
Transflo Mobile+ 5.0 introduces multi-fleet profiles that make job transitions quicker and easier for drivers, and, for fleets, simplifies onboarding new drivers. The 5.0 release also includes a free version of the app, Transflo Mobile+ Lite, built specifically for owner-operators.
“Transflo Mobile+ is the trucking and logistics industry’s leading fleet management platform,” said Michael Southworth, Transflo president. “It gives drivers and fleets access to a robust document scanning and automation platform, routing and truck-specific navigation, load and fleet visibility, a top-tier electronic logging device and hours-of-service tracking features, and an ecosystem that integrates into fleets’ other selected solutions.
With an updated menu, fleets and drivers can manage passwords, add a user profile and image, and make changes to their email address and phone number. Transflo Mobile+ 5.0 also now offers the option to enter the app via biometric reading such as face-scan technology or fingerprint, providing a more secure, quicker way to access Transflo’s suite of tools.
A new carousel feature within the Transflo app allows owner-operators to work with multiple brokers and carriers, which also allows for load visibility by the hiring entity.
“With driver turnover rates topping 100% and fleets working hard to hire new drivers, the multi-fleet options within the app simplify this part of the driver onboarding process by allowing drivers to quickly add their new fleet to the Transflo Mobile+ app, without having to reconfigure their app settings or profile,” said Don Burke, Transflo’s chief operating officer.
Transflo Mobile+ Lite, announced this summer and now available on Android and iOS devices via the 5.0 release, provides a free version of the app that offers access to document scanning, as well as access to the Transflo Social Network, weather reports, driver emergency assistance, and location finder for Transflo Express document scanning locations. Lite mode also integrates CAT Scales and loyalty apps for Pilot Flying J, TA TruckSmart, and Love’s, consolidating applications on drivers’ phones and tablets.
Transflo Mobile+ 5.0 is available for download now. Transflo Mobile+ can be downloaded on any iOS or Android device via the App Store and Google Play market. Drivers and fleets already using the app can update from their devices’ app store.
