Weigh station bypass service now available to KeepTruckin, Pedigree Technologies customers through new integrations

Drivewyze recently revealed new partnerships with KeepTruckin and Pedigree Technologies that expand the availability of its PreClear weigh station bypass service.

Through a new integration with KeepTruckin’s App Marketplace, KeepTruckin customers now can easily activate Drivewyze PreClear; and Pedigree now is offering its OneView ELD Chrome with integrated PreClear and Drivewyze safety notifications.

With Drivewyze PreClear enabled, KeepTruckin customers can bypass inspection sites across the nation, leveraging the KeepTruckin Vehicle Gateway (ELD) already installed in their vehicle to reduce time spent idling at weigh stations. Drivewyze is providing KeepTruckin customers with a free introductory trial offer to showcase the service for fleets of all sizes.

“In today’s landscape, fleet efficiency has never been more important,” said Charles Julius, head of product for KeepTruckin’s App Marketplace. “By providing weigh station bypass availability from Drivewyze directly within our KeepTruckin platform, we’re helping customers and their drivers stay on the road longer to generate more income and ultimately grow their businesses. The free trial will give a risk-free opportunity to see how trucks can take advantage of this benefit.”

With the PreClear weigh station bypass service, KeepTruckin customers can receive bypass opportunities at more than 800 locations in 47 states and provinces. The integrated service requires no transponders to be installed in the vehicle, and streamlines onboarding and activation of Drivewyze services for fleet managers using the KeepTruckin App Marketplace.

“KeepTruckin has a loyal customer base due to its innovative platform,” said Gavin Henry, vice president of business development for Drivewyze. “We share a similar mindset in offering our customers best-in-class solutions that leverage technology to run more efficient fleet operations. We’re thrilled to have them as a partner and to maximize the value customers receive on KeepTruckin’s platform.”

Pedigree Technologies was announced as Drivewyze’s newest partner during the virtual McLeod User Conference. With the PreClear weigh station bypass service, Pedigree’s customers can receive bypass opportunities delivered via the OneView Platform, helping improve driver efficiency, as well as boosting driver safety when partnered with Drivewyze safety notifications.

“We welcome Pedigree Technologies as our newest partner,” Henry said. “Weigh station bypass has become a must-have for many fleets, as it allows safe fleets to keep moving and ‘bypass’ weigh stations—thanks to their good safety records. The partnership with Pedigree Technologies makes implementation of the service easy and cost-effective—with no transponders—by simply turning on the service through Pedigree Technologies’ OneView ELD Chrome solution.”

According to Josh DeCock, Pedigree’s VP of product management, the addition of PreClear to its platform is another way to improve productivity for its customers. “We offer our customers an award-winning fleet management system—from asset tracking to dash cam solutions to electronic work orders, and more,” he said. “We’re thrilled to be adding Drivewyze PreClear and Drivewyze Safety Notifications to our package. It will make a huge difference for our customers’ drivers—and, the beauty is, it can be activated within minutes.”

Once integrated, Drivewyze transmits safety scores, registration and IFTA tax compliance information to the weigh station, which then calculates the information against the bypass criteria established by its state. If the carrier and vehicle pass the criteria, at 1 mile out, the driver receives permission to bypass the site. The better the fleet’s safety score, the more bypasses typically granted.

Subscribers to Drivewyze PreClear weigh station bypass service can also activate Drivewyze safety notifications. This service provides safety notifications for high rollover areas, mountain corridors, and low bridges.
