Dupré Logistics recently was recognized by the Louisiana Motor Transport Association for its outstanding safety record.
The Louisiana-based bulk transportation and logistics company secured first place in the Tank/Hazardous Materials class based on mileage from 6 million to 9 million miles. Dupré also took second in the General Commodities class based on mileage between 9 and 12 million miles.
“It is truly an honor for Dupré to receive such an award from the Louisiana Motor Transport Association,” said Al LaCombe, vice president of safety and risk management for Dupré. “Every driver and employee is a true steward of the safety programs here at Dupré. Safety is overseen from the top down but works daily from the bottom up by job experts completing each task safely.”
LMTA represents trucking and related industry companies throughout Louisianan and the country. The awards, sponsored by Great West Casualty, were presented to Dupré at the LMTA Annual Convention Awards Banquet on July 24 in Pensacola Beach, Fla.
