Dupré Logistics LLC announced a new crude oil hauling contract with a major oil producer in the Eagle Ford shale play, a growing energy sector in southwest Texas. The carrier launched the operation in November 2011 and now has 24 crude oil transports in service.

As part of the agreement, Dupré will provide truck and driver capacity along with on-site management. Dupré management say they believe they have a unique approach in shale play logistics services. While other service providers are merely transactional, and have little personnel or infrastructure in the area, Dupré is committed to providing a full range of services with hands-on support.
