The American Chemistry Council recently recognized Dupré Logistics as a certified partner of its Responsible Care Initiative. To gain certification in the partner program of Responsible Care, Dupré Logistics had to undergo an extensive audit of its processes and safety program while committing to supporting the guiding principles of the American Chemistry Council. The certification initiative was created to respond to public concerns about the manufacture and distribution of chemicals by having a third party certify that best practices are employed throughout a company.

Performed by Midland Engineering Ltd for certification as a Responsible Care Partner, the audit process included corporate and site visits ensuring that Dupré was committed to the guiding principles of the initiative. This commitment to Responsible Care? includes making continuous progress toward the vision of no accidents, injuries, or harm to the environment and publicly reporting Dupre's global health, safety, and environmental performance. The initiative also dictates that Dupré and other members lead in ethical ways that benefit society, the economy, and the environment while adhering to 10 guiding principles and the seven Codes of Management Practices of the American Chemistry Council.
