Specialty chemicals distributor Univar Solutions’ annual Carrier Awards this year celebrated several tank truck carriers, including Highway Transport, Quality Carriers, and Quest Liner, who received “Excellence in Service and Partnership” honorable mention awards; and Dixon Bros., one of nine recipients of Univar’s “Superior Excellence in Service and Partnership” award.
Presented during the company’s annual carrier recognition event, the awards highlight carriers whose service excellence help Univar keep essential chemicals and ingredients moving for customers and suppliers across North America. Honorees are selected for their strong performance in areas such as safety, on-time delivery, responsiveness, capacity support, data connectivity, and overall customer experience, Univar reported.
“Reliable transportation is essential to how we serve our customers and suppliers every day,” Rob McRae, Univar’s vice president of North American transportation, said in a news release. “This year’s award recipients consistently showed what strong carrier partnerships look like—operating safely, communicating clearly, and bringing practical solutions that help us deliver with confidence in a dynamic supply chain environment.”
The awards recognize partners across key transportation categories, including regional, bulk, truckload, and LTL service. The Most Valuable Partner award is presented annually to the carrier that goes above and beyond to support Univar and its customers through exceptional service, creative problem solving, and a strong commitment to partnership, Univar added.
The 2026 MVP Carrier is Addison Transportation, a dry, refrigerated, and flatbed hauler based in Addison, Texas.
