Trucking HR Canada celebrates 2026 Top Fleet Employers
Trucking HR Canada recently recognized 98 fleets of all sizes across multiple segments, including tanker transportation, as Top Fleet Employers for 2026.
“The 2026 Top Fleet Employers demonstrate exceptionally high standards in their HR practices, and we are proud to showcase them as leaders in our sector,” Trucking HR Canada CEO Angela Splinter said in a news release. “Now in its 13th year, the TFE program continues to evolve alongside the transportation industry, raising the bar and reinforcing its position as a national benchmark for excellence.”
This year’s cohort, which represents regions across Canada, includes bulk haulers Alchemist Specialty Carriers, Trimac Transportation, 4Refuel, Castle Fuels (2008), Linde Canada, Jade Transport, Coastal Mountain Fuels, KAG Canada (Westcan Bulk Transport), and Tandet. Fleets recognized for five, 10, or more years earn Top Fleet Employer of Distinction status. In 2026, 10 fleets—including KAG Canada and Tandet—achieved 10-plus years of distinction, and five reached the five-plus year milestone.
Top Fleet Employers is a national initiative that recognizes fleets with HR policies and practices that meet the highest standards in the sector. It is not a competition, but a rigorous review process where applicants are evaluated across multiple criteria, including skills development, workplace culture, employee engagement, recruitment practices, compensation, sustainability, community engagement, and innovative HR policies, the organization said.
Employees also provide feedback about their workplaces.
All 2026 Top Fleet Employers will be recognized and celebrated at the 13th annual Awards Gala set for Oct. 14 in Toronto.
“We are honored to celebrate the fleets that help make the transportation and logistics sector a great place to work, while also benefiting from this prestigious national recognition,” Splinter said.
