Family members of United Petroleum Transports, Pulido Transport, and GenOx Transportation employees are among the 37 recipients of 2022-23 scholarships from the Texas Trucking Association (TXTA) Foundation, which this year awarded $200,000 to deserving students across the country.

All scholarship winners are affiliated with TXTA member companies, the association said.

“In 1991, TXTA Foundation began the scholarship program to give back to the families of trucking industry employees—the men and women who keep our country moving,” said Brandon Woods, TXTA Foundation chairman. “Since the establishment of the scholarship program, the foundation has awarded more than $2.1 million in scholarships to students to help them achieve their education and vocational goals.”
