Indian River Transport completing new foodgrade wash rack in Bensalem PA
Within weeks, Indian River Transport is scheduled to open its new three-bay foodgrade wash rack in Bensalem PA. Cleaning operations should commence in the second half of January 2018, and the facility will offer commercial foodgrade tank cleaning.
Located at 1528 Bristol Pike in Bensalem on the northeast side of Philadelphia, the new wash rack has Kosher and Juice Processor Association certifications. The facility was built on a 10-acre site that offers plenty of trailer parking.
This was the second new foodgrade wash rack built by Indian River Transport in 2017. The other is in Mission TX. Across its system, Indian River now has six foodgrade wash racks in operation, and more are coming in 2018.
Indian River’s new Bensalem wash rack, as well as its overall foodgrade cleaning operation, will be profiled in detail in the March issue of Bulk Transporter magazine.
