Quala recently expanded its tank-cleaning network again, acquiring National Tank Services’ Geismar, Louisiana location, and Lancaster Tank Wash in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
The company now has three locations servicing the key chemical corridor in Louisiana.
The newest location in Geismar boasts a multi-bay wash rack servicing a range of chemical products prevalent in the market. And with a combined six full-service maintenance bays, Quala and PSC offer testing, inspections, maintenance, and repairs for tankers, trailers, and chassis, along with parts distribution.
Additionally, the location can offer office space and “significant” parking capacity on a paved lot, Quala said.
The Lancaster facility expands the company’s food-grade and chemical cleaning capacity in the Northeast, with the key food-grade certifications customers require, and “environmentally minded” cleaning services.
“The addition of these locations further solidifies our commitment to providing the best value while reducing risk for our customers,” said Erik Leto, Quala’s chief operating officer. “The ability to provide a one-stop wash and maintenance service center, along with tank parts distribution in Geismar, Louisiana, will significantly improve quality and turnaround times for our customers in this highly concentrated market.
“Adding Lancaster Tank Wash to our network further demonstrates our commitment to the food-grade market and expands our ability to service customers transporting food-related products along the East Coast.”
The Geismar facility is located at 35072 E. Highway 30. The Lancaster location is at 798 Flory Mill Rd.
