Airmatic adds Solimar Pneumatics products
Key Highlights
- Airmatic now distributes Solimar Pneumatics products, including silo fluidizers, dust filters, and air knockers.
- The partnership aims to improve dry-bulk handling by reducing bridging, rat-holing, and slow unloading issues.
- Solimar’s products complement Airmatic’s existing flow-aid solutions like vibrators, air cannons, and railcar unloading equipment.
Airmatic, a distributor of bulk material handling equipment, now is an authorized distributor of Solimar Pneumatics products.
The agreement strengthens Airmatic’s ability to support customers who store, convey, transport, and unload powders and bulk solids, the company reported. Solimar’s product line includes silo fluidizers, trailer fluidizers, dust filter assemblies, air knockers, and related replacement parts that help reduce dry bulk handling problems such as bridging and rat-holing.
“Solimar is pleased to welcome Airmatic as an authorized distributor,” Greg Jarvela, Solimar partner, said in a news release. “Airmatic understands dry bulk material handling. They have the application knowledge, customer relationships, and service capability needed to support our products properly.”
The addition expands on Airmatic’s long-standing focus on flow-aid solutions for industrial plants, terminals, processors, carriers, and other bulk-material handlers. The Solimar line complements Airmatic’s existing offering of industrial vibrators, pneumatic flow aids, bin aerators, air cannons, sonic horns, railcar unloading equipment, and dry bulk trailer opening and unloading equipment/components.
“Solimar is a strong fit for Airmatic,” said Billy Dougherty, Airmatic vice president and general manager. “Their products solve the problems our customers bring to us every day: poor flow, incomplete cleanout, slow unloading, and difficult-to-handle powders and bulk solids.
“This relationship gives our sales, service, and customer support teams a proven product line when customers need dependable dry-bulk fluidizing and trailer solutions.”
