Fuel tank provider adds convenient online ordering, opens new North Carolina facility for improved service, shipping times in Southeast

Western Global is upgrading its capabilities.

The provider of transportable tanks recently enabled online orders of its FuelCube and TransCube Global fuel tanks, and opened its second U.S. facility in Pineville, N.C. in an effort to bolster support of customers in the Southeast.

The company said its store.western-global.com website provides customers with “readily available information and convenience” when purchasing fuel tanks.

“We are looking forward to seeing the ease and success of how this online option can improve the logistics of our customers’ operations,” said John Cleary, Western Global Americas vice president of sales. “This is a convenient resource for our customers, allowing them to order at any time, day or night—whenever they are ready to make their purchase.”

TransCube Global features 110% fluid containment and is DOT-approved to provide safe fuel transport anywhere it’s needed. With features like a lockable equipment cabinet, galvanized frame, and four-way forklift pockets, the TransCube can save time and money while reducing risk on busy jobsites, Western Global maintained.

TransCube tanks are manufactured in sizes ranging from 132 gallons to 1,204 gallons.

Western Global’s FuelCube is a compact and economic stationary fuel tank that is field proven for onsite supply and refueling in construction and distribution. The FuelCube offers features such as an integral lockable equipment cabinet for security, double-walled and weatherproof containment, stackable corner brackets for better storage and two-way forklift pockets for easy mobility when empty.

The FuelCube is available in a variety of sizes ranging from 243 gallons to 1,862 gallons.

The process of ordering online is simple and consists of selecting the tank size, fuel type and pump, then checking out. Three sizes of the FuelCube and TransCube tanks are available for online orders, the company said. Customers can choose either diesel or gasoline for the fuel type and select from three pump options.

The current estimated lead time for delivery is listed on the ordering page for each product.

The company said its new Charlotte-area location brings local support and faster shipping times to customers in the Southeast U.S.

“We have a vision to provide a high level of service to our customers across North America,” Cleary said. “With more facilities, our customers can have even faster access to fuel storage solutions and service when they need it the most. Our new Charlotte facility will help speed up shipping times for product and provide customers with increased local support from our knowledgeable staff.”

Prior to the addition of the new facility, all Western Global orders in the U.S. were shipped from Troy, Mich. With the opening of the Charlotte location, customers in the Southeast can expect faster shipping and delivery times, with transportable Transcube tanks and stationary FuelCube tanks shipped straight from the facility.

“We are dedicated to being a resource for our customers in a variety of regions and climates,” Cleary said. “One significant reason we chose to add this location was to further increase responsiveness to operations needing emergency fuel tanks to serve as power sources in the event of natural disasters, specifically hurricanes on the East Coast.

“This proactive approach is just one of the ways we fulfill our mission of helping customers be ready for the unexpected.”
