Joseph J McAleese has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC. McAleese, who was promoted to president in March 2002, assumes the CEO position previously held by Robert S Oswald, who will continue to serve as Bendix chairman.
Steve Andrews has transitioned from managing director with Hendrickson Europe to serve as general manager of Hendrickson International truck suspension systems division in Woodridge IL. Mike Keeler, general manager of auxiliary axle systems in Hebron OH, assumes the added responsibilities of managing Hendrickson Europe.
Paul L Vikner, who has served since July 2001 as president and chief executive officer of Mack Trucks Inc, will become a member of Volvo's Group Executive Committee effective Jan 1, 2004, reporting to Leif Johansson, president and CEO of the Volvo Group. Vikner will continue to serve as president and CEO of Mack.
Lyn Anglin has been named president of Maxi-Seal Harness Systems Inc, a subsidiary of Peterson Manufacturing Co. Before joining Maxi-Seal, Anglin served as general manager for Panelite. Maxi-Seal has named Aimee Koch national sales and engineering manager. She most recently was sales engineer for Bear Plastics and Square D Co.
Dave Nelson, regional service manager for Western Pacific Leasing Inc in Seattle WA, has been named PacLease's Service Manager of the Year. The award was presented at Paccar Leasing's annual maintenance management seminar in Seattle.
