Sure Seal, a leader in bulk transport valves and part of OPW Fluid Transfer Group, now offers its new patent pending two-inch Aeration Butterfly Valves (ABV). Designed for reliability and hassle-free installation, the valve replaces conventional ball valves and eliminates the need for additional components necessary for individual hopper aeration.

The long-lasting ABV won’t gall, freeze-up, or become hard to open like other valves on the market today. This translates into fewer broken handles and less repairs and maintenance.

The combination of a silicone gasket and a butterfly-style valve allows easy opening and closing, regardless of conditions. The unit is also low maintenance as there is never a need to replace the entire valve. If the ABV becomes contaminated or needs adjusting, simply remove the four bolts, replace the seat or disc, and bolt the valve back together.

Weighing only three pounds, the valve is constructed of lightweight alloy while the valve seats are FDA-approved silicone. The ABV has a wide temperature range from -40ºF to 350ºF (-46ºC to 177ºC) and features a maximum operating pressure to 100 psi. Like all Sure Seal transportation valves, the two-inch Aeration Butterfly Valves are 100% machined, assembled and tested in Sure Seal’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kansas City MO.
