M&K Truck Centers recently invested in a new, state-of-the-art Volvo truck dealership in Romulus MI.
The truck and trailer dealer hosted a grand opening event to celebrate the new building Oct 24. The location is slated to open for business Nov 4.
“The new facility was strategically designed and will offer unique customer experiences,” said Ron Meyering, CEO of M&K Truck Centers. “We are very excited to share the excitement with customers and the community.”
M&K says it quickly outgrew the first building on Ecorse Road from which it has been serving the Detroit area since April 2017. The new location is at 29275 Citrin Drive in Romulus.
The new 67,000-square-foot Romulus facility sits on 25 acres and features 31 service bays, allowing M&K to provide a higher level of service and support to the trucking community. The facility also boasts a 14,000-square-foot parts warehouse stocked with nearly $2 million worth of inventory, M&K said.
In addition to the Romulus location, M&K has three other dealerships in Eastern Michigan—Sterling Heights (Volvo and Mack), Flint (Volvo and Mack) and Saginaw (Volvo).
“M&K has some of the most experienced commercial truck professionals in the industry and is confident that the Romulus team of knowledgeable diesel mechanics, parts specialists and salespeople will provide continued growth opportunities to help our customers succeed,” the company said.
