Michelin Connected Fleet now integrates Doran’s tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) hardware with its Smart Predictive Tire solution, which is available through the Platform Science Virtual Vehicle Marketplace.

The collaboration combines Doran’s commercial tire pressure and temperature monitoring hardware with Michelin’s intelligent technology, helping create a more connected tire management experience for fleets, the companies report. By bringing together tire data, connected vehicle technology and predictive insights, the integrated solution is designed to help fleets improve visibility into tire performance and support more informed maintenance and operational decisions.

“Doran provides the signal, and our Michelin Smart Leak algorithm helps translate tire data into actionable insights that support informed maintenance decisions,” Willem Moore, Michelin Connected Fleet president, said in a news release. “By providing visibility into potential tire conditions, fleets can evaluate issues sooner and take appropriate action based on their operational needs.

Doran’s tire monitors and sensors provide digital tire pressure and temperature data that support Michelin’s solution, helping fleets gain greater visibility and access to a more complete connected tire management offering.
