EBE launches interactive website, expands fleet lifecycle tools

The automation software provider's upgraded portal lets bulk carriers test operations, complementing a prior training partnership with Luma.

Key Highlights

  • The website allows carriers to upload freight documents for real-time data extraction using EBE’s BeyondAI technology, demonstrating software effectiveness firsthand.
  • Interactive tools like ROI calculators and Fleet Defensibility Scorecards help fleets assess financial impacts and operational risks quickly.
  • EBE’s Digital Workforce automates financial operations and manages the entire driver lifecycle, integrating seamlessly with existing systems.

EBE Technologies, a provider of back-office automation for the transportation industry, recently launched a redesigned website featuring interactive evaluation tools for carriers. Located at ebeships.com, the platform allows fleets to test EBE’s software capabilities against their own daily operations.

Visitors to the new site can upload challenging freight documents to see real-time data extraction via EBE’s BeyondAI technology, utilize ROI calculators to assess the financial impact of manual back-office tasks, and evaluate risk using a two-minute Fleet Defensibility Scorecard.

“Carriers want to see software work on their own documents before they believe it,” Larry Kerr, EBE president, said in a news release.

“The new site lets them do that on their first visit.”

EBE’s Digital Workforce is built specifically for transportation, integrating with existing systems to automate financial operations—such as invoicing and settlements—while managing the entire driver lifecycle from recruiting and onboarding through safety and compliance. The East Moline, Illinois-based company serves more than 650 carriers, brokers, and fleets across the U.S. and Canada, and works with a number of prominent bulk haulers, including Texas TransEastern, Wayne Transports, Solar Transport, and Beelman Truck Co.

Expanding driver lifecycle capabilities

The website launch builds on EBE’s ongoing expansion of its driver lifecycle capabilities, highlighted by an integration partnership with Luma Brighter Learning announced last year. By connecting EBE’s Applicant Tracking System and safety modules with Luma’s learning platform, carriers can manage all pre- and post-hire training processes from a single ecosystem.

Key operational benefits of the EBE-Luma integration include:

  • Automated scheduling: Training modules can be scheduled or canceled automatically through either solution, ensuring seamless synchronization.
  • Centralized documentation: Certificates of completion are automatically stored in the driver’s file within EBE’s platform, eliminating redundant manual entry and reducing error risk by up to 97%.
  • Actionable safety data: The integrated system pulls data directly from dispatch, telematics, cameras, asset maintenance, and HRIS without manual file processing, allowing fleets to build highly individualized driver coaching plans.
