Navman Wireless North America offers the M-Nav 750, a commercial-grade GPS/dispatch/messaging device designed for in-vehicle use. This upgrade to the company's first-generation M-Nav 650 offers new rugged hardware for long life, a five-year warranty, and vehicle class-based routing.

Like its predecessor, the M-Nav 750 enables fleet drivers to receive dispatch instructions, view maps to their next stop, and send messages back to the office on one mobile unit that sits on the vehicle dashboard or windshield. Relevant maps and turn-by-turn directions are displayed automatically when the driver accepts a job. These capabilities help reduce drive time, decrease fuel costs, minimize paperwork, and improve customer service by providing accurate ETAs.

Features new to the M-Nav 750 include:

  • A new housing and 4.3-inch anti-glare touchscreen engineered to withstand heavy use, eliminating replacement during the contract period. The touchscreen is built for significantly more touches.

  • Routing based on truck attributes such as length and weight, helping prevent fines for non-compliance with road regulations.

  • Driver ID functionality enabling automated reporting of drivers' hours as well as analysis of speed, mileage, and other attributes by driver.

  • A five-year warranty enabled by Navman-controlled manufacturing.

  • A smart cradle that eliminates ports, wires, and points of failure, instead allowing drivers to simply drop the M-Nav 750 into the cradle to connect.

Other M-Nav 750 features include a SirfStarIII GPS, RoHS/WEE compliance, and operating temperatures from -10° to +60° C.

The M-Nav 750 is available on a monthly lease. Monthly fees are as low as $18 per device, depending on unit volume. More information is available by calling (866) 527-9896 or e-mailing [email protected].
