Vision Industries Corp, Los Angeles CA, has announced that its prototype zero emission plug-in electric/hydrogen fuel cell Tyrano truck completed the second stage of performance testing.

The tests were performed at Freightliner facilities in Whittier CA, according to Vision information.

"The second stage testing consisted of payload and speed evaluations," said Lawrence Weisdorn, Vision chief operations officer. "We are very pleased to confirm that our drive train is more powerful than required for the full Class 8 heavy duty truck rating for an 80,000 lbs GVW."
