The average price of diesel across the nation rose 1.6 cent last week to $3.048 per gallon, according to the Department of Energy.
Low sulfur diesel was up a fraction of a cent to $3.017 while ultra low sulfur diesel rose 1.7 cent to $3.055 per gallon.
