The International Liquid Terminals Association (ILTA) recently announced Melanie Little, the senior vice president for operations at Megellan Midstream, as the keynote speaker for the 39th Annual ILTA Operating Conference.
“It’s been some time since ILTA’s conference featured one of our industry leaders in a keynote speaker role,” said Kathryn Clay, ILTA president. “We are thrilled that Melanie Little will be sharing her expertise and insights with our conference participants.”
Prior to her current role, Little served in positions of increasing responsibility at Magellan. Since joining the company in 2004, she has served in VP positions in crude oil commercial and operations, as director of transportation services for refined products and marine, and in roles in environmental, health and safety management.
Prior to joining Magellan in 2004, Little worked for Williams as manager of environmental compliance. Before Williams, she held project management positions in civil construction and environmental remediation projects on behalf of the US Army.
Little served as an officer for the US Army Corps of Engineers from 1992 to 2003 (active duty 1992 to 1995 and reserves 1995 to 2003).
The annual ILTA Conference and trade show is set for June 3-5 in Houston TX.
