Charah Solutions recently opened a new rail-served distribution terminal with storage in central Massachusetts.

Charah Solutions Inc, a leading provider of environmental and maintenance services to the power generation industry, recently opened a new rail-served distribution terminal with storage in central Massachusetts.

The fully-operational terminal and silos, located in Hopedale MA, will serve customers throughout New England where demand for quality fly ash is growing.

“Charah Solutions is nationally recognized in the power generation industry as a leading fly ash sales and marketing company,” said Scott Ziegler, vice-president of byproduct sales at Charah Solutions. “This relocation to a larger terminal in central Massachusetts will allow us to more than double our regional throughput and increase our inventory, while ensuring a steady and reliable supply of quality fly ash for the ready mix concrete producers throughout the region.”

The new facility provides customers with easy access to nearby I-495 and I-90 and direct routes to Rhode Island and New Hampshire, allowing for the efficient distribution of products to customers throughout the New England region. The new silos also increase availability and reliability of fly ash from Charah Solutions’ MultiSource materials network locations.

The company’s MultiSource materials network represents more than 30 nationwide sourcing locations across the South, New England, the Midwest, the Rocky Mountains, and California. These locations ensure a steady and reliable supply of Class C and Class F fly ash for ready mix concrete producers and other customers throughout the United States.
