National Tank Truck Carriers--which worked with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration--deserves plenty of credit for its successful effort to overturn the ill-advised California rest break requirements that would have severely penalized tank truck drivers.
More recently, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration moved to preempt the California rule for all trucking operations.
