Addition expands Nebraska-based bulk hauler’s oilfield operations in Montana, North Dakota

Badlands Tank Lines recently acquired 100% of the crude oil assets of Lunderby Trucking.

Based in Sidney, Mont., Lunderby also serves Watford City, Killdeer, and Keene in North Dakota with a fleet or more than 60 trucks.

The company called the addition a positive development for Badlands, Lunderby, and their respective customers in a LinkedIn announcement.

Badlands, specializing in oilfield logistics and hazmat solutions, was founded in 2011 in Omaha, Neb.

“I’d like to thank Steve Lunderby and the entire Lunderby team for building a great operation,” said Roger Johnson, president of Badlands. “Their hard work and dedication over the years is visible in the DNA of the organization.

“We look forward to integrating them into the Badlands team.”
