Jasa Transit operations will become an important part of the Carry Transit bulk food carrier and rail transfer business, the company said.
“Linda and her late husband Rick have done an incredible job of building a great company dedicated to safety and service,” said Bob Heniff, CEO of Heniff. “They have a great team of drivers and a family culture that will strengthen our ability to service our customers.”
Founded in 1997 by Rick Jasa and Linda Ingram-Jasa, the company provides liquid and dry bulk food grade transportation services across a diverse customer base. Products Jasa transports include edible oils, sweetners, bulk sugar, bulk flour, lysine, lactic acid, food-grade plastic pellets, and Perlite. The company provides kosher-certified liquid and dry bulk tanker service for foodgrade products throughout the lower 48 States and Canada.
“I am looking forward to becoming part of the Heniff family,” said Linda, who will remain with the company. “This provides our drivers, employees and customers an unparalleled opportunity to continue to grow.”
Heniff operates one of the largest asset-based bulk hauling networks in North America, supporting customers in liquid bulk chemical as well as bulk food grade markets.
The company has almost 100 locations and nearly 2,000 drivers across an integrated freight network that provides full-service solutions in transportation, tank cleaning, rail transloading and ISO operations.
