Trimac earns EcoVadis sustainability award
Trimac recently earned the EcoVadis Committed Badge, a globally recognized acknowledgment of the company’s progress in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance and ongoing efforts to embed responsible and sustainable business practices across its operations.
Trimac achieved an overall score of 46, positioning it above a significant portion of companies evaluated through the EcoVadis network, the carrier reported. More notably, Trimac achieved a score of 51 in environmental performance, exceeding the transportation industry average of 49.5, as a result of its progress in emissions management and environmental impact mitigation. A score of 50 in labor and human rights and ethics is closely aligned with sector and broader industry benchmarks and reflects Trimac’s established practices that support workplace safety and employee well-being.
“Disclosing through EcoVadis is no small feat—it’s a rigorous, transparent process that helps our customers see the real work behind our sustainability commitments,” Abraham Masri, Trimac manager of energy transition and sustainability. “Scoring in the ‘Good’ range puts us ahead of most, especially in a sector as tough to decarbonize as transportation. This badge isn’t just recognition, it’s a signal that Trimac is serious about driving meaningful change.”
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings, evaluating four key categories: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The Committed Badge is awarded to organizations that score 45 or higher, indicating “Good” performance within the EcoVadis sustainability framework.
