Hendrickson, Voith form EV partnership

Collaboration between ride and electric-drive solutions specialists expected to drive advancements in the zero-emission vehicle space.

Hendrickson Truck Commercial Vehicle Systems and Voith U.S. recently formed a partnership aimed at leveraging their respective areas of expertise to develop new product technologies for the commercial vehicle industry.

Combining Hendrickson’s 110-plus years of history in creating innovative ride solutions and Voith’s 155 years of industrial ingenuity and electric-drive system experience, the collaboration is expected to drive advancements in the electric and zero-emission vehicle space, the companies reported.

“This partnership represents a major step forward in our commitment to innovation and sustainability within the commercial vehicle industry,” Hendrickson CEO Matt Joy said in a news release. “By combining our strengths, we aim to deliver groundbreaking technologies that will shape the future of transportation.”

Hendrickson, a Boler company based in Woodridge, Illinois, is a global manufacturer and supplier of medium- and heavy-duty mechanical, elastomeric, and air suspensions; integrated and non-integrated axle and brake systems; tire pressure control systems; auxiliary lift axle systems; parabolic and multi-leaf springs; stabilizers; bumpers; and components to the global commercial transportation industry.
