ITE Management recently acquired CS Leasing, a global container lessor that offers tank and specialized dry freight containers.

CS maintains approximately 55,000 containers deployed across four continents, the companies reported. ITE is an alternative asset manager that focuses on industrial transportation and infrastructure. The company completed the CS acquisition with its managed funds.

“Global freight flows span both land and sea, where tank containers operate as a railcar over the ocean and serve as a natural extension of both ITE’s core focus and our intermodal strategy,” Jennifer Polli, ITE managing director and head of intermodal, said in a news release. “This is a high-demand, global specialty market where operating expertise and fleet quality are critical, and CS Leasing strengthens our ability to deliver integrated solutions across transportation.”

By adding ISO tanks and dry freight specials to its existing portfolio of rail, chassis, dry container, and aviation assets, ITE is expanding its presence across key freight transportation sectors. CS Leasing serves chemical, industrial, and logistics markets where fleet quality, safety, and operational reliability are critical, reinforcing ITE’s focus on operationally intensive transportation infrastructure.

“ITE brings deep operational insight, long-term alignment, and a shared commitment to fleet quality and execution,” CS CEO Frank Vaughan said. “This partnership strengthens our ability to deliver for customers, expanding access to specialized containers through flexible leasing and ownership solutions they rely on.”

The acquisition follows ITE’s purchase of Milestone Chassis and reflects continued investment in the intermodal sector as global logistics demand greater flexibility and coordination across modes.
