Groendyke earns Quest for Quality Award

Groendyke Transport Inc took home its eighth Quest for Quality Award in the Bulk Motor division. Groendyke Transport received the honor during the 31st Annual Quest for Quality Awards presentation, hosted by Logistics Management in San Antonio TX.

This award is presented to carriers that have reached the summit of service excellence. For three decades, Logistic Management Quality Survey has been regarded in the transportation industry as the most important measure of customer satisfaction.

To determine which carriers go above and beyond to achieve customer service excellence, Logistic Management readers evaluate companies in all modes and service disciplines, choosing the top performers in categories including motor carriers, railroad, and intermodal services. The survey was presented over a six month period with over seven thousand readers casting their vote.

Bernie Higgins, Groendyke Transport senior vice-president of chemical sales and marketing, accepted the award on behalf of Groendyke Transport. “Safety and customer service are synonymous with Groendyke Transport, and this award is a testament to that 83-year-old commitment,” he said.
