Since HOYER GmbH ordered its first Van Hool swap bodies and chassis in 1986, a total of 5,000 units have been delivered. New ideas are developed and implemented by the customer's specialists in the technical departments and the manufacturer's construction engineers. Over the years, a close relationship created the basis for many creative ideas and a high-quality production.

The variety of constructions is proof of the accomplishments of the past 22 years. More than 50 different types of tank containers and road tankers for the transportation of chemical products and food were built for HOYER. Special equipment for the silo business and gas tank containers were also customized. Container chassis in aluminium and lightweight steel, equipped with tipping and pump units, for example, also belong to the broad product range built for HOYER.

In a symbolic gesture, owner Jos van Hool presented the 5,000th tank to Thomas Hoyer, chairman of the Advisory Board. Many employees of both companies participated in the celebration in Belgium, with experts present to discuss new designs and developments.
