Eaton Corporation announced a new line of steam hose engineered for maximum safety and superior performance. The new Steam Slayer hose combines a specially blended chlorobutyl tube with high-tensile steel wire reinforcement and an Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) cover to produce a hose with a 10:1 burst safety factor.

Side-by-side testing shows Steam Slayer hoses are superior to other steam hoses. Steam Slayer withstands more than 2,000 hours of saturated steam at 407° F. That's more than twice as long as the competitive hoses tested.

Steam Slayer is available in ½", ¾", and 1" ID sizes. Three color options are offered including the traditional red and black barber pole stripe, a red with yellow ink transfer layline, and a black covered hose.

Hose specifications, pricing and lead times are immediately available through North American distribution.
