Trail King Industries has named Barry Freifeld director of sales. He has more than 20 years of executive sales and marketing experience in the industrial, automotive, electronics, military, and medical products and services markets. Most recently he served as national sales manager for Hermes Abrasives Ltd of Virginia Beach VA.
Grote Industries has appointed Jim Braun as chief financial officer. Braun most recently served as vice-president of corporate strategic planning and development. John Grote has been named vice-president of sales and marketing after his previous service as the first managing director of Grote Industries Europe. Bob Shively has joined Grote Industries as US sales manager for Grote Electrical Connections and Accessories division. Most recently serving in regional national aftermarket sales with Phillips Industries, he will report to Eric Morris at Grote Industries' Markham, Ontario location.
SkyBitz has appointed Henry Popplewell as senior vice-president of sales. A 30-year veteran of the transportation and technology industries, he most recently managed sales for SkyTel and has worked for Nextel Communications and Ryder Systems Inc. Siamak Azmoudeh has joined SkyBitz as senior vice-president of product line management. With more than 25 years of experience in the transportation and adjacent industries, he was formerly vice-president at Pegasus TransTech in Tampa FL.
