Meritor Inc has appointed Chris Villavarayan vice-president, Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, Commercial Truck. He previously was general manager, Operations Planning & Strategy. Chris Snodgrass has been named vice-president, Axles & Drivelines, Commercial Truck, North America. Previously, he was vice-president, Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management. Joe Plomin has been appointed vice-president, Global Brakes, Commercial Truck after serving most recently as vice-president, Truck Americas. These appointments all take effect June 1.

Steve Killough has joined J J Keller & Associates Inc as a senior consulting practice manager. He spent 18 years at Vulcan Materials Company, most recently as a supply chain manager. Jimmy Sill will serve Keller as a DOT lead safety consultant. Most recently, he operated an independent regulatory and safety consulting firm.

Telikepalli Kumar Prasad, Eaton Corporation's hybrid engineering manager in Pune, India, has received the SAE Foundation's “Stefan Pischinger Young Industry Leadership” award, which recognizes outstanding young engineers age 35 and under. One of two winners worldwide, he received his award during the SAE Foundation's 25th anniversary banquet at Ford Field in Detroit MI recently.

Accuride Corporation announced that William M Lasky has stepped down as chairman of its board of directors. He served as interim president and chief executive officer from September 2008 to February 2011 while the company searched for a permanent CEO. The board of directors has elected its lead independent director, John W Risner, as chairman. A member of this board since February 2010, Risner has served as president of The Children's Tumor Foundation since 2005. He also serves on the board of directors, audit, and finance committees of NII Holdings.

MAC Trailer has added Marty Vogt to its team as national aftermarket tank parts manager. A career tank industry professional, he has served in sales and management positions for more than 30 years.

Mark Botticelli has joined PeopleNet as executive vice-president and head of technology. Brian McLaughlin was named president, replacing Ron Konezny, the chief executive officer, who was named general manager of Trimble's expanding Worldwide Transportation and Logistics (T&L) division. Konezny remains PeopleNet's CEO. Botticelli previously led development of mobile worker-centric and vehicle-centric applications within Trimble's Mobile Resource Management business. Garland Jackson and Mark Kessler, new PeopleNet senior sales vice-presidents, will be collaborating with Jamie Williams, president of PeopleNet Canada, on operating issues. Jackson, in addition to leading regional accounts, is adding small markets, sales operations, and sales engineering to his duties. Kessler will continue to manage growth of national accounts while overseeing PeopleNet's expansion into Mexico and other markets. Rick Ochsendorf, former operations vice-president, is now senior vice-president of operations and product management.

Dean Vicha has been named president of NationaLease, the full-service truck leasing organization. Most recently, he served as vice-president, national accounts.
