Bulk Tank Inc is set to manufacture an ultra-lightweight, low-profile, hopper tee cast of foodgrade stainless steel that is close to the weight of cast aluminum. The design of the new tee allows for maximum strength, faster unloading, and lighter weight than any stainless steel tee on the market. The new tee will be 100% American-made, which is important in maintaining the integrity of the foodgrade stainless steel.
Available in straight or bottom drop, the tee takes advantage of BTI’s SiphonFlow technology that uses two forces instead of one. The product is pushed out of the tank with tank pressure and also pulled out of the tank with line pressure. The unique fluted design causes a venturi effect resulting in the “pulling” of product from the hopper, allowing product to be unloaded faster.
The new tee will be available in the second quarter of 2012. This tee is another example of BTI’s innovative product design and, as with all of its products, BTI unconditionally guarantees this tee will outperform any similar product on the market.
