Long-time Eagle Transport Corporation controller Harold Rackley recently retired after 37 years of dedicated service to the bulk hauler.

“It has been a great privilege to work with Harold over these many years,” said Lance Collette, Eagle president and chief operations officer. “He truly embodies our corporate values through his impeccable character and service to others.”

Rackley started his career in 1985 when he joined the accounting team of sister company Stallings Oil Company, where he was instrumental in the company’s prosperity and expansion. Over his tenure, he supported every function in Eagle’s finance department. His commitment, accomplishments, and guiding spirit have contributed to the Rocky Mount, North Carolina-headquartered carrier’s continued growth and diversification, the company said.

“Harold will be missed in many ways—as much for his heart, faith, and friendships as for his knowledge and experience,” said Joe Duncan, senior vice president of finance. “Harold, we are so grateful for your service and dedication.

“We wish you and Debra the best as you take a new path along life’s journey.”
