Reigning NTTC safety champ’s 20th location expands its nationwide footprint in the Northeast, delivers additional resources and opportunities

Service Transport Company is expanding its nationwide footprint.

National Tank Truck Carriers’ reigning Harvison division North American safety champion recently opened its 20th terminal in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, area. The facility offers additional resources for customers, and new opportunities for revenue and profitability growth for Service Transport, the company said.

“We are very excited about the opportunities that this market presents for our driver force and our company,” said Wade Harrison, president of Service Transport.

The Adams Resources & Energy subsidiary has grown from six terminals situated in three Gulf Coast states, to 20 in 11 states spread across the eastern U.S. in the last four years. The company’s new base of operations in Pennsylvania is located at the Express Container Services facility at 3505 Grand Ave., in Pittsburgh.

“I am pleased to see the Service Transport team continue to execute on the strategic plans surrounding our transportation business,” said Kevin Roycraft, Adams’ president and CEO.
